Last Post of 2010-and Heifer International Blog-a-thon

Nathan Bransford is raising money for Heifer International - and so am I.  For every comment that someone makes between now and midnight, Dec. 31, I will donate $1 to Heifer International up to the cost of one tree in their catalog ($60).  I encourage you to comment on Nathan's blog and others who are also raising money.  We really can make a difference.

This is also the last post for 2010.  I hope all of you who are traveling arrive at your destination safe and sound.  Happy holidays!

Last but not least - I know I didn't post a book review this last Friday.  For those of you still looking for Festivus gifts, I recommend Nick Bantock's bizarre little pop up book of S. T. Coleridge's "Kubla Khan."  It's out of print, but there are plenty of used copies for sale on Amazon.  It's like Thomas De Quincey (or Coleridge) exploded in paint all over the page. Very cool.

Keep the comments coming!  See you in 2011!
